 Southern Arkansas University teamed up with Tacos 4 Life and FMSC (Feed My Starving Children) to help donate 116,640 meals. This will feed 320 children for an entire year.

This event was organized by SAU's Volunteer Coordinator, Katie Heese. She made this event part of the freshman orientation known as Mulerider Round-Up. She was able to get over 730 volunteers to help donate meals. 

The donated meals packed by Muleriders will be sent across the world and will make a life-saving impact in a child's life. Volunteering during freshman orientation introduces SAU's mission of becoming effective citizens and fostering the service of the environment. This is the first of many times the freshman class will be able to make a positive impact in global communities.

  I am critiquing Jamar's blog because of how well all his work is done and how organized his work is. I actually have taken some motivation from his work to make mine better. One thing that impresses me most about his blog is his organization and how he shows a picture of each story he posts. I think his selection for his cover photos are done perfectly and makes the reader want to click and read the story.  I also would like to appreciate the grammar he uses during his blog posts. Jamar's ability to have a good vocabulary and good grammar makes his posts seem more professional.  I would also say that it impressed me how he was able to finish all 20 stories in such a short time. None of the stories look like they are rushed to be finished. Something I would change to his website is maybe switching up the style or the font of a couple of the stories just so it doesn't look repetitive and has a flare to it....

  Shohei Ohtani just signed the biggest sport's contract of all time. Ohtani just signed a 10-year contract worth a whopping $700 million dollars. Ohtani is only player who is a two-way player in the MLB. He is able to pitch and hit in the MLB, which is unheard of today. He is also an MVP and majority of MLB fans believe he is the best player in the entire league.  Ohtani also shocked the world again when it was said he will defer $680 million dollars from the $700 million he is supposed to get paid.  The Dodgers would have been paying Ohtani more annually then 6 other MLB teams were going to pay their whole roster.  Shohei's new teammate Mookie Betts also has a very large contract with the Dodgers.   The very anticipated Rock Star Game GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto) has just released their trailer for their new game. GTA 6 will be the 8th installment in the series. Their previous game GTA 5 released all the way back in 2013. Fans of the series have been waiting for a new game for over 10 years.   Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 - YouTube                                                 The GTA 6 trailer broke 60 million views in only 12 hours. This broke the previous record of most views on a YouTube video in a span of 24 hours, and it broke the record in only 12 hours.
