6. Campus Crime

At Bowie State University there were two people shot on campus during their Homecoming festivities.

The Bowie State University police got a call around 11:45 p.m. about shots fired around the area of Henry Circle. The two people shot, were two 19-year-old boys. Neither one of the two were actually students at Bowie State University. The two men were rushed to the hospital, neither one of them have died from their injuries.

The college says that the shootings at Morgan State University are not linked to the shootings at Bowie State University.

The shooting at Bowie State University is still under investigation by the Maryland State Police, assisted by the Bowie State Police Department. They ask if anybody has information about the shooting, to contact Maryland State Police.

      Most kids when introduced to High School sports such as baseball want to become professional players at that sport. What most kids don't know when in this thought process is how little the percentage is of people who go professional In this chart it shows the percentage of players from high school who make it to the MLB. Now if you even are drafted there is a high chance that you will stay in the minor league and never reach the MLB. I am one of those kids that want to be in the MLB one day. I took my first step into the path by playing college baseball at Southern Arkansas University. With hard work and dedication, I believe I can one day be a part of the statistics that did make it.

  In the United States, The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) keep a list of the most wanted people. To get on this list, the person has had to do a crime and not be caught. Ten Most Wanted Fugitives — FBI Alexis Flores is wanted for involvement of a kidnapping and killing of a 5-year-old girl. They are offering up to $250,000 for any information.  Arnaldo Jimenez is wanted for killing his wife less than 24 hours after getting married. The FBI is offering $250,000 for any information. Omar Alexander Cardenas is wanted for  his alleged involvement in the murder of a man and unlawful flight to avoid  prosecution. The FBI is offering $250,000 for any information. Yulan Adonay Archaga Carias is the alleged leader of MS-13 for all of Honduras. The FBI is offering $100,000 for any information.  Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel is wanted for the 2015 murder of his wife.
